Et voila, more of me art. Yesh. These are based on a topic we decided to experiment on, the era, apparently, the sixties.
I didn't catch on until much later. It was suppose to be sixties. The psychedelic colours and the Beatles. I just listened
to the Beatles: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band and read the lyrics. I picked out visuls and painted them accorind to
the lyrics, not the ERA. Silly me. But it turned ok-ey!

lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds... alas, contrary to popular belief it's not about LSD, eventhough they sound that they were
on it. It's a great song. Very noice. Rocking horse people, tangerine trees and marmalade skies. Very creative and very vivid
with colour in their song. I like. This is the most colourful pieces.I never use so much colour before only this one. Hrm.

Through the Window |
|
oils, collage on canvas |
through the window
through the windown is based on the song, One Day in the life from the same album. This dude sits down have breakfast, reads
tragedies in the newspaper but then seems to drift to his own idle matters. Just like us. Sitting down as the world is thrown
into chaos when we are safe in our little homes. Theh collage is a bus crash in Malaysia and all its passengers were killed
when they were coming back home from their relatives place after Eid. Then there's the little girls in Palestine with guns.
Alas, what the world has fallen into.

this is me - clay
Et voila, it's me again but in clay. Funny story this piece is. It was in the kiln with another piece of mine, a mushroom.
The mushroom blew up in the kiln and it hit me face. Needless to say, it cracked me face and broke the background. No shame.
It turned out lovely. I kept it. A shattered part of me inside.

the sultan abdul majid building
Yes, the photo is quite dull. Forgive me. It's in a frame and I was avoiding a glare and a reflection of me.
This the Sultan Abdul Majid building on Merdeka Square in Kuala Lumpur. Inspired by the artist Feiniger and Marc. It's
a train station and the High Court of Malaysia. It's a very unique building. Inspired by the Moors, Arabs, Malays, British
etc. A truly Malaysian cultural heritage.
